There are a lot of emotions thrown into the mix that serve to elevate the lead pair’s performances but also distract from the main plot of the movie. The film does stumble a lot but it ends on the right note (even though the end is clichéd… that you can sniff out easily). The movie seems to be the best romantic comedy of the year and is worth a one-time watch but I do not think that it is the one to be remembered for a longer period of time.
The movie is good… just do not expect it to be a masterpiece, no matter what other moviegoers tell you.
