A lot of interesting news has come out of the Warner Bros panel during ShoWest and one of the biggest breaks has to do with the culmination of the Harry Potter franchise. According to Collider, the studio has an exit strategy as to how they’ll lift their dependency from the JK Rowling series as their main source of blockbuster material. They’ve decided to turn to the properties under the DC Comics banner to carry them through the new decade.At the Warner Bros’ ShoWest presentation, Alan Horn spoke about their future plans for tentpole properties now that Potter has wrapped its run. Their strategy has always been to release a few event films every year and for the most part Harry and company had that covered. But the new game plan will include some oldies but goodies like Green Lantern and the rest of the DC heroes.
Nothing is set in stone but they’re hearing that we can expect a new Batman movie and (finally) The Flash in 2012. The studio is currently talking to directors and trying to get the projects off the ground. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet but when it is we’ll let you know.
On another note, if you’re sick of the 3D trend, too bad it’s going to be here a while. The WB plans on releasing 5 3D movies this year and another 9 in 2011. Horn described the technology as the new standard for the company, which means we’ll be seeing all of our favorite DC comic heroes with a little something extra when they hit the big screen.
There’s a part of me that’s happy to hear about the rest of the DC roster getting their time to shine, but why does it have to be in 3D? I can’t explain the level of disdain I have for this trend right now. It’s getting old real fast Hollywood. Real fast.

The type of protection that would perform very best for a truck that is getting employed for large duty work would be the thick rubber ground mats. These rubber mats resist stains really effectively, and are not difficult to clear; they can be rinsed with h2o hose as extended as you clear them although spills are contemporary. Soon after hosing them down and letting them air dry or drying them with a towel you are all set to place them back again inside your truck.
