Will the roller-coaster that is the casting for Captain America ever end? Earlier today we reported that “The Office” star John Krasinski was the frontrunner to take on the title character in the live action flick, now we’re hearing that he’s not even in the running and Chris Evans is. So we’ve gone from Jim to The Human Torch, damn these actors with their cross-comic roles. Do you see what Ryan Reynolds has started?According to Deadline Hollywood, Marvel is still actively looking for the right actor to star in The First Avenger: Captain America, and John Krasinski isn’t it (Thank God!). They must have heard the murmurs from the fan community, because even though he’s a great comedic actor he was not going to cut it as Steve Rogers. Besides him we’re hearing that the other actors who were shortlisted, Chace Crawford, Scott Porter, Michael Cassidy, and Patrick Flueger are no longer candidates.
