The Brooklyn Paper reports that the Men in Black III production filmed at the Relish diner in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on Wednesday night. The site says the diner has been closed since July.

Will Smith and Josh Brolin were there, while the funny looking light-wearing bike riders from the previous films were on set as well. The site added that next month, the production will film for a few days at the Grashorn Building on Coney Island.

Director Steven R. Monroe's (I Spit On Your Grave) next feature film will be the revenge-action-thriller Hole in the Desert. The independently financed feature will begin principal photography in June.

The film is a violent, edgy ride focusing on the forlorn Reagan Tyler, a man who troubled by visions and premonitions that ultimately lead him to a small desert town. It's there that Reagan meets the beautiful and mysterious Monika, a young woman who turns out to have been killed the night before he even met her! Yesterday, there were updates on two Lionsgate projects. First it was revealed that Lionsgate had picked up MGM's The Cabin in the Woods for distribution. That was followed by the news that Dibbuk Box (AKA the "Untitled Sam Raimi Horror Project") was going to be moved back from October 28 to January 6, 2012.

Industry insiders have now revealed to ShockTillYouDrop.com that this move was most likely made so that The Cabin in the Woods, directed by Drew Goddard and written by Goddard and Joss Whedon, can take that October 28 slot. The film, starring Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Kristen Connolly, Anna Hutchison, Fran Kranz, Jesse Williams, Richard Jenkins, Bradley Whitford and Brian White, is a spin on the ol' "cabin in the woods" scenario where a bunch of kids head out into a forest and creepy stuff goes down.

Anthony Mackie, who recently appeared in The Adjustment Bureau, is said to have been offered a part in Marc Forster's World War Z. Variety has the scoop, also suggesting that the actor could potentially join Gangster Squad (in addition to or instead of Z).

Based on the novel by Max Brooks, World War Z is about a worldwide infestation of flesh-eating zombies. Brooks -- the son of Mel Brooks and Anne Bancroft -- wrote a detailed tome in which a researcher for the U.N. Postwar Commission interviews survivors from countries all over the world 10 years after the crisis to gather a first-person post-mortem on a war that obliterated every country on the map.

Brad Pitt is already attached to star in the Paramount Pictures film as the U.N. researcher and Mireille Enos is in talks to play his wife. Mackie's potential role is currently unknown, but the film is looking to go into production immediately for a summer 2012 release.

Stephanie (Amber Heard, who also serves as co-producer) and Ellie (Odette Yustman) are nearing the end of a once-in-a-lifetime bicycle trip through Argentina. Steph is the low key, almost prudish girl, while Ellie is the wild, free-spirited part of the duo. On their last day they come to a remote mountain village, and after a shower, decide to go out for a night on the town. You've seen enough horror movies to know that flaunting your sexy Americanness while in a foreign country never ends well. Stephanie (Amber Heard, who also serves as co-producer) and Ellie (Odette Yustman) are nearing the end of a once-in-a-lifetime bicycle trip through Argentina.
